I’m pleased to announce that my book is now available on Kindle from Amazon.com. You’ll find it here. Take a look, won’t you?

No Kindle? No problem! You don’t need to own a Kindle or other e-reader to read my book. Amazon.com offers a free app that you can download and use on your PC or Mac to read Kindle books. A free app is also available for iOS or Android systems. Finally, the Kindle cloud reader is web-based. It allows you to read Kindle books on your computer without downloading anything.

Getting rich is easy, but staying that way is oh so hard. Wes McCain, in his book Memoirs of a Money Manager offers advice on how to maintain your wealth. He’s learned much about that in his over a half-century in the money management business.

Although Wall Street was gloomy in 1971, he walked away from a steady paycheck as a Columbia Business School assistant professor and White House economic analyst to Dr. Arthur Burns to open his New York firm, Towneley Capital Management. He had one client and bushels of belief in himself and the opportunities. With storytelling flair, he shares challenges met and lessons learned. He also includes pieces on his hobbies: beekeeping, hunting, and hiking. He relates the poignant last hunt with his elderly father and a hiking story in which fear intrudes upon nature. If the world of money and the people who manage it intrigues you, this slim volume is just the ticket.
